Veteran Marketing and Creative Executive Picked to Oversee Marketing Corporate Wide
– Chicago IL May 5, 2014 — Digital GreenSigns today announced it has named Tony Alwin, a senior out of home executive with extensive marketing, branding and creative experience to the post of Director of Marketing and Engagement reporting to GreenSigns CEO Joseph Mancino.
GreenSigns stated Alwin will be responsible for overall brand management, advertising, creative, and digital strategy positioning. He will join GreenSigns effective May 21st.
Alwin comes to GreenSigns with a long history in the Out of Home industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Creative and Public Affairs for Clear Channel Outdoor. Clear Channel is one of the world’s largest Out Of Home companies.
At Clear Channel Alwin managed 38 U.S. creative departments including technology, resources, training, budgets & communication. He directed corporate public relations, corporate social responsibility programs and green initiatives. He also initiated all social media programs and managed the company’s web presence.

He has also chaired the Outdoor Advertising Association of America’s Creative Committee, and served as OBIE Awards Judge on multiple occasions.
